The entertainment lineup features some of the St. Louis area's top jazz musicians, including Anita Rosamond, Denise Thimes, Kim Massie and Groovethang. Kate Bennett, events manager for KMOX Radio, said the station has wanted to plan an event on the Illinois side for a while."Good Spirits" describes the "spirit" of the event, with wine and great entertainment, she said. Born near St. Louis, Rosamond began her musical career in her early teens playing piano, singing and recording music with her older brother's band. She now has four CDs to her credit, including a Christmas recording, released in November.
